A versatile and passionate violinist, Dr. Keat Zhen Cheong seamlessly blends diverse musical influences from her Malaysian roots with international acclaim. As an active orchestral musician, she has performed with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, Panama City Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, The Orchestra of the Americas, and the Boston Civic Symphony Orchestra. She has performed at prestigious concert halls, such as Boston’s Symphony Hall, New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall, and the University of Michigan’s Hill Auditorium, where she has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed artists and conductors such as Yo-Yo Ma, Augustin Hadelich, Midori Gotō, JoAnn Falletta, and Keith Lockhart. Her artistry has also extended into the cinematic landscape through recordings for the critically acclaimed Netflix Original series, The Ghost Bride, and HBO Asia movie, The Garden of the Evening Mists.
